Where do I start? I first met Paul when he was filming a friend's wedding in 2019. As soon as I began planning my own wedding I knew I wanted to book him and luckily he was available for our date in June 2022.
Paul's attention to detail is outstanding, he has this amazing ability to just blend in on the day and you almost forget he's even there. And if you do know he's there, it's to crack a joke or put everyone at ease.
Having received my video and sent it on to close family and friends, the consensus was what a beautiful piece of work, he captured every moment perfectly and we couldn't be happier.
I wouldn't think twice about recommending Paul.

Paul captured our wedding beautifully on film in December . When I bumped into him in a wedding fair, I knew he was the man for the job due to not only his fabulous work but his great fun and laid back personality.

Paul filmed our wedding in Aug 2018 at The Millhouse, Slane. Living in England we actually didn't meet him until the day of the wedding but spoke on the phone a few days beforehand so he could get a feel of what we wanted. It's fair to say that we never expected to be totally and utterly overwhelmed at how much of a sound guy he was, although we were barely aware he had a camera on him, by the end of the day we didn't want him to leave as he felt like a guest. Neither myself or my other half are very comfortable in front of a camera so we wanted the day to be captured from the background so to speak and I have to say what we got was just perfect. Paul is a master of what he does and we would highly recommend his work to anyone, the craic is great with him, his laid back attitude puts everyone at ease, yet his attention to detail is meticulous. We will cherish our videos for ever. Thanks so much again.

I should have written this review a long time ago but better late then never. Paul captured our wedding in October 2017. Paul was so easy going, fun and professional on the day. He helped keep the nerves at bay and made sure two camera shy people felt very relaxed throughout the day. He got the most beautiful shots of our day and the end product edit was just out of this world. We LOVE our video and couldnt ask for more from Paul. I have watched it at least 100 times!
To top his level of soundness, Paul, almost a year later sent me stills and video clips of my Grandad who had just passed away. This was honestly the kindest gesture anyone could have made and sums up what an amazing man and videographer Paul is.
Couldnt recommend him anymore! You would be lucky to get him for your wedding ❤️

His relaxed style on the day made us feel at ease from the beginning. He’s a true professional. We got married in sept 2018, my sister found old pine films on Facebook and I watched some of his videos and straight away I loved his style. He captures beautiful, contemporary and professional videos while also with his lovely witty personality has us laughing and relaxed for the day. In the nicest way we didn’t really notice he was filming. Paul has to be one of the highlights of our wedding because he captured our highlights in a real life way, so much more than photos could naturally achieve and we have that forever. When we watch it, it takes me back to the day and you see people’s expressions, emotions it’s such a lovely reminder of the day. Also the drone footage is pretty cool too. Thank you so much Paul. When we were shopping around for a video of our wedding day we knew we didn't want anything run of the mill. We researched lots of videographers before we hit the jackpot when we met Paul.
From the minute we made contact he set our minds at ease and we knew we were on to a winner. We felt like we had known him for years!  His friendly,relaxed personality carries through to his work - he was great craic and brought the best out in everyone his filmed.
 

We hired Paul to video our wedding and we couldn’t have chosen better. He was so helpful and professional and put everyone at ease on a hectic morning! All our families and friends had a great laugh working with him and one of my favourite parts of the day was when we (bride and groom) got a chance to take a breather and pose for some shots after everyone else had headed back to the reception. We had a lot of fun during this time and you can really see how happy and relaxed we were in the footage. 

The dvd was perfect and was ready really quickly. We also got a trailer a few days after the wedding to keep everyone happy in the interim! Paul worked very closely with our musician to have the music just right, and with our photographer to include some great snaps for our dvd cover. The finished product is perfect and a joy to watch. We may have to order more copies as the mother of the bride might just break hers from overuse!

Thanks again for really adding to the enjoyment of our day and for providing us with great memories and chances to re-live it.

I Would just like to say a massive thank you for the fantastic edits. You did an amazing job and we are so happy with it. The short video is a great addition to the dvd and fantastic to share with friends and family overseas. You are very good at what you do, and its very evident the hard and detailed work that goes into the editing and production.

Paul from Old Pine Films filmed my wedding and I could not recommend him highly enough. From the booking to the run up to the big day everything was very smooth and simple.A booking form was filled in with our details and Paul made contact with  me a few weeks before the big day to finalise everything.

Paul was so reliable and professional. We hardly noticed him on the day itself he was so discreet.  Paul turned up early on the day itself and caught all the wedding preparations in the house,. The video itself was an absolute delight to watch and it was like reliving the big day itself. Paul put a five minute video  on you tube a few days after the wedding which was great to watch while on on honeymoon- It was a great teaser and it was lovely to be able to share it online with my friends so they could all see it also.

The video was absolutely stunning and we were delghted that it caught all pieces from the day which we couldn't take in on the day itself. We are planning to watch the video on our anniversary each year. The DVDs themselves were hand delivered by Paul  and came in the cutest package I almost felt bad opening it.  

An excellent service I couldn't recommend Paul any higher. Thanks for everything and helping us capture the most important day of our lives.
